Material selection – the beginning of every collection
Every new collection starts with an inspiration – a color, a mood, a trend, or sometimes even a very specific feeling. In our design department, the exciting search for the perfect fabrics then begins. We travel to trade fairs, browse sample books, and allow ourselves to be inspired by international trends.
One thing is always at the forefront: the highest quality. We choose only materials that prove themselves not only visually but also to the touch – soft, supple, and durable. At the same time, we pay attention to innovative fabric developments and fresh color palettes so that every collection radiates something unique.
Design & Cut – when ideas take shape
From the selected fabrics, the first drafts, sketches, and mood boards are created. Our designers combine creativity and craftsmanship – they consider how a cut should look, which details make a model special, and how fashion and function can be in perfect harmony.
Nothing is left to chance: strap width, closure type, seam guidance—every element has its purpose and contributes to the overall look. In the end, a cut is created that not only appears fashionable but also offers optimal wearing comfort.
Quality control of raw materials – perfection from the very beginning
Before even a single thread is sewn, every raw material undergoes a strict quality check. Our quality management follows clearly defined guidelines and a detailed technical brief.
We check for web defects, test the stretchability, measure the weight, and check the colorfastness under different conditions. Only materials that pass all our tests make it into production. This way, we ensure that every piece is manufactured at the highest level from the very beginning.
Cutting – precise and resource-saving
In cutting, precision down to the millimeter counts. For each production order, the cut pieces are placed on the fabric rolls in such a way that maximum material yield and minimal waste are achieved.
The layers of fabric are carefully stacked on top of each other and then cut in multiple layers at the same time. This not only saves time but also resources – an important part of our sustainable production philosophy.
Molding – Form meets comfort
Many of our bras are molded – a technique in which the fabric is shaped into a permanent, soft cup form using heat and pressure. This process not only gives the models an elegant, smooth appearance, but also a particularly comfortable wearing experience.
Our female customers appreciate molding bras for their seamless silhouette, high comfort, and flattering fit that lasts all day.
Sewing – Handmade with a Love for Detail
As soon as the cut pieces and shaped cups are finished, the elaborate handwork begins. Step by step, high-quality bras, panties, or swimwear are created from the individual parts.
Throughout the entire process, intermediate checks are repeatedly carried out to ensure that every seam, every closure, and every detail is flawless.
Before a product leaves our company, it undergoes a strict final inspection. This way we ensure that only perfect pieces leave our company.
Logistics – the last step to the customer
The finished products are stored in our logistics center in Heubach. They do not wait long there: As soon as an order is received, the items are picked, carefully packed, and shipped.
Our goal is for every customer to receive their product quickly, reliably, and in perfect condition – and to experience that special SUSA feeling right when unpacking it.
